MEDICAL FILM EXTRUSION

  • Biomedical devices need several extruded formats including cast film, to meet design needs. MI can extrude all polymers - bioabsorbables - engineering and elastomers with and without additives directly from extruders and small scale compounders to minimize heat histories and ensure property retention.

  • MI can produce polymer films in widths of 0.5 to 8 inches (12.7 - 203 mm) and thicknesses of 0.001 to 0.040 inches (0.025 – 1.02 mm)
